6/19/2015 through 7/12/2015: Post camp break. I urge you to remain active in the sport with practicing the skills learned, tumbling privates as needed, and prepare for August. Please be cautious in activity as injuries can set us back.

I will continue to update you as I receive information. Please continue to "sell" King Soopers cards. I will update you once I receive them to pass them out. Remember they are $5 each. The athlete will receive the profits as the card is used, reloaded, etc.
Please let me know ASAP if you want or need more Rockies tickets. I can provide them now for sale.

As always, contact me if you have any questions.

Thank you. Good luck on finals. Study hard.

5.22.15

Good Morning all,

Thank you all for your flexibility and patience as I figured out the calendar issues. As far as I knew it was up and working for weeks. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

I have received a financial agreement from all so I was able to put in the orders for gear. If you have not made payment plan arrangements yet, PLEASE EMAIL ME YOUR THOUGHTS ASAP to start the conversation.

The purchase orders for all gear are ready to be submitted. I will keep you posted on their arrival of items. If you have questions on what sizes were ordered, I am happy to verify this with you.  I am working on inventorying all the uniforms based off of the sizes given to Coach Deschryver the other day. I will have those by June practices.

Please continue to email me or call me with questions.

See you next week.

Captains

Now that's you have made the team, I am sure you are wondering who is going to be a captain. Here is what I would ask from you:

Email me at trail9cheer@gmail.com answering these questions as your application:

1. What is a captain? (Define it for me in your words)

2. How you exude the qualities defined above?

3. How do you resolve conflict? Give a recent example.

4. Why do you want this position?

5. As the first captain of the first ever 9/10 team at CT, how would you lead this team to help develop the program? (i.e. would you start a new tradition, create team bonding, volunteer, recruit for the program, etc.)

The deadline for applications is June 2nd. This is the day of makeup finals at CT. Through demonstration at practices and the application answers, a captain will be selected prior to camp.

Good luck!

More info

Please know that if a practice is set to start at 3:00, it now starts at 3:30 for the 9/10 team. I recognize some schools don't get out until 3, so 3:30 is good for all.  We will still end at the same time.

Those who had questions about a payment schedule:
After talking with Coach DeSchryver, she has stated that the schedule is what you make it. Can you make $100 a week or $200 a month? Please pay as much as you can as often as you can until your bill is paid in full. I cannot accept payment later than OCTOBER 30. This is the last day of tumbling and the day before our last game. Please email me with questions and to make individual payment schedules. This also allows time for fundraising. I want to encourage you to read the athlete handbook for the section of payment if your athlete quits, is ineligible, or excused from the team. If you did not turn in a financial agreement after the meeting, it is due TUESDAY.

All sizes will be submitted Thursday after our fittings so please come prepared!

Please see the previous post for more information from the last meeting.

Read the athlete handbook for Tuesdays test!
